Before I began my research, I didn’t know much about Marc Brock. He has been a part of Elevation Worship for many years and has penned some of the group’s best sounding tracks such as "O Come to the Altar," "Here as in Heaven," "Resurrecting," "Do It Again" and many others. As you would expect the album sounds very much like an Elevation Worship or Hillsong Worship album, but that is no bad thing! There are many tracks on the album that I would class as ‘stand out’. “Greater Things”, the title track, is a brilliant fresh sounding worship anthem. It is a proclamation of the work of God in an individual’s life with lyrics including, “I trust Your name for greater things, You will come through”. Another one of my favourite tracks is "To the End" which features Bethel's Amanda Cook. A more laid back, ‘peaceful’ tone comes across in this track, and Marc and Amanda’s voices sound extremely powerful together. Through life we will all face difficulties, but this track is a reminder that we have a powerful force by our side: “Oh, my soul sings, You are faithful, You are faithful, To the end”. I feel I could have proclaimed any of the tracks as outstanding, as they are all covering different aspects of the Christian walk and they all do it very well. For fans of honest, heartfelt worship music this is the album for them. If your customer already likes Elevation or Hillsong then this would be a great album for them to buy and try.
