Description
The National Youth Ministry Weekend is the gathering point for Christians who work with young people. Held over three days in November, it's a chance for youth leaders, youth workers, church leaders and other practitioners to hear new ideas, receive inspiration, worship, pray, network and get creative. It's completely different to any event that's gone before, and it's jam-packed with content that will be relevant for anyone who loves God and cares about teenagers. This USB stick contains all recorded teaching in MP3 (audio) and MP4 (video) format from the National Youth Ministry Weekend. Speakers include Amy Orr-Ewing, Mark Scandrette, Kenda Creasy Dean,, Krish Kandiah, and Matt Summerfield on subjects such as 'The worst mistakes youth practitioners make and how to avoid them', 'Grief, Grace and Grit: Doing youth ministry when life sucks', and 'Reimagining youth ministry in the rural church'. Youthscape are a national youth work organisation determined to see transformation in the lives of all young people, and in the church's approach to working with them. Based in Luton, Bedfordshire, their team of youth and schools specialists work in a range of formal and informal settings, focusing on young people's social, emotional and spiritual development, while their national-facing projects help the whole church to grapple with the same areas. They're totally committed to a robust innovation process which means they test new ideas in our local context and then share what works nationally.
