He also directs Word and Spirit, a programme that enables believers to engage with the Bible in ways that are transformative (www.wordandspirit.info). His recent books include The Miracles in the Gospels (SPCK, 2015) and, coedited with Trevor Burke, A Biblical Theology of the Holy Spirit (SPCK, 2014). 2 A Pentecostal Appraisal of Scripture, Reason, Tradition and Experience Charlotte Johnson is a Human Resources professional working in the public sector. Her voluntary work includes serving as a magistrate and as an executive trustee of a charity for people with learning disabilities. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry qualification through the NTCG Leadership Training Centre in partnership with the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, USA. 3 Pentecostal Spirituality in Our Post-Modern World Dr Douglas Nelson has served as an ordained minister of the United Methodist church, USA. He earned his Doctorate from the University of Birmingham, UK, with a dissertation entitled 'For such a time as this: The story of Bishop William J, Seymour and the Azusa Street Revival'. 4 Pentecostalism and the Prosperity Gospel Revd Dr Joel Edwards is the International Director for Micah Challenge, a global Christian response to extreme poverty. Prior to his role within Micah Challenge, Joel was General Director of the Evangelical Alliance UK, a post he held for over 10 years. Joel is an Advisory Member of Tony Blair's Faith Foundation. He also serves as a member of the Advisory Board on Human Rights & Religious Freedom with the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office. He is an honorary Canon of St Paul's Cathedral, London, and has an honorary doctorate from St Andrews University, Scotland. 5 Pentecostalism, Politics and Justice Dr Steven Land is a minister of the Church of God and a member of the Pentecostal Theological Seminary faculty in Cleveland, USA, where he developed courses on the Theology of Holiness, the Theology of Wesley, Divine Healing, Pentecostal Foundations for Theological Study and Ministry, Apologetics, and Pentecostal Spirituality-Theology. He is a founding editor of the international Journal of Pentecostal Theology and is the author of Pentecostal Spirituality: A Passion for the Kingdom (CPT Press, 2010).
