David Hidalgo has a wedding to prepare for. And who better to bake the cake than his downstairs neighbours, Ali and Ayeesha – devout Muslims, patriotic Scots, and great cooks. But something’s wrong. Their two sons, Rashid and Karim, have been persuaded by the rhetoric of a radical online preacher who was expelled from the Edinburgh Mosque for heresy and extremism. Now the boys have gone missing. Clues suggest they may be in Spain and that the so-called Prophet is pushing them to an act of terrorism.
