Description
Revelation is the most frightening book of the Bible, yet the most encouraging. It depicts our world in its death throes as evil rulers persecute the people of God and thousands of believers are martyred for their faith. But in the midst of this carnage, Jesus Christ returns to win the final victory over evil and death, then gather His people around Him for all eternity.
Revelation’s horrible scenes of conflict must not distract us from its glorious climax. We need to realize that its grisly descriptions of Armageddon and the Antichrist are not the central themes of Revelation. Instead this last book is about the glorious return of Jesus Christ.
