Description
The Book of Isaiah: A poetic, prophetic book on finding hope in God amidst failure, injustice, and suffering. In many ways, the thematic focus of Isaiah can be categorized twofold. First, there is a theme of judgment—used to describe the wrongdoings and injustice of the people of Israel against God. And second, there is a theme of hope and salvation—God's promises that in the midst of Israel's rebellion, he would still fulfill his covenant promises through a new king, named "Immanuel."
