CLC World Review  (23.07.2018)

A church is made up of many members often all from different backgrounds, and each has their own set of problems, but they are brought together by Christ and His love. This DVD captures that really well and shows how, in a church, each soul can be moving in different directions – twelve individuals in this case. The characters include a minister moved by the words of a mysterious street preacher carrying a massive cross, a pregnant teen that he and his barren wife take in, a church janitor who takes in a homeless mother and child while trying to disguise a cough that would lead to him being rushed to hospital, a born-again paramedic and his wife, her PTSD-suffering brother, a suicidal young woman, an aging couple still reeling from the death of their daughter and a thug who fi nds himself ready to repent for good following a robbery gone wrong. Through these characters the story challenges Christians to live out their faith through kindness, service and sacrifi ce. It also challenges us to be bold in sharing our faith, no matter the consequences. It would also be a great movie for those who are struggling or have lost all hope in faith; God’s love for them is made abundantly clear in this film.
