Not only did Brown produce, he also wrote seven songs, co-wrote one with Ruth and another with his production partner Justin Savage; thus the album I Got You was born! Further, from the title track " I Got You" that borrows from the hit sounds of the 60's to the soulful songs of "Safe" & "Come Through" an undeniable signature sound was created.
