James Hudson Taylor DVD

I think I would be safe in saying that in this day and age we can often forget how difficult the Christian path was for many in the past. I have often heard the name Hudson Taylor but I admit I’ve never studied him until now. James Hudson Taylor: Called by God Into the Heart of the Dragon is a new documentary highlighting the life of this great man. In 60 minutes you learn how he was called from a young age to do a work for the Lord. God had laid on his heart the call to go to China and bring the Gospel message to this dangerous part of the world. During the course of the DVD we learn of Taylor’s heartache and sadness as well as some of the rewards that came from his service, such as the China Inland Mission. Taylor is considered the forefather who cleared the path for missionary work in China. This DVD is well put together and excellently documents the life of this incredible man. A film for all ages, this DVD will be well worth having on the shelf as there will be more people like me who will want to learn more about the life and work of James Hudson Taylor.
