Living with A Fire is a live worship album recorded at the home church of Jesus Culture in Sacramento, California.
This album features worship leaders Kim Walker-Smith, Bryan & Katie Torwalt, Derek Johnson and Chris McClarney. The new album is fresh and outstanding for fans of praise and worship music. I have enjoyed listening to it several times over and, with the album lasting for one hundred minutes, you will definitely be getting value for money. Each song has a fresh appreciation for Christ and the vocals are strong. I love a live album and with this
you really feel like you are there in the crowd. One of the best tracks me for me is ‘Awe’, a song in which we are reminded to never lose sight of the sacrifice of Christ: “Where there was fear, now there is freedom, When I was lost, You made a way, Now mercy triumphs over judgement”. Looking for a big worship ballad? ‘Yes and Amen’ will have you sorted on that front, with great lead vocals and beautiful lyrics: “Faithful, You are, Faithful, forever,
You will be, Faithful, You are, All Your promises are yes and amen”. Overall this is a great album and picking just two favourite tracks was hard. I feel this music is suited to millennials but can be enjoyed by all.I can see some of these songs sticking around for a long time and being covered for years to come.
